“I’ve grown up around wine, I am so lucky to have an extended family of winemakers, viticulturists, French interns and of course Mum and Dad to show me the ropes. I was never made to feel I had to be involved and headed off to complete a degree in design but when I went to London I soon discovered I couldn’t escape my background and became immersed in wine. This wine is a favourite of mine and I’m happy to see my name on the bottle.”

Neudorf Rosie’s Block Chardonnay will be exported to the United Kingdom, United States, Denmark, Sweden, Australia and Germany as well as selling in fine restaurants through New Zealand.

“I haven‘t been offered the role of international ambassador for the wine yet – I might have to work a bit harder on the parents,” says Rosie.

Neudorf Vineyards was planted in 1978 by Tim and Judy Finn and is recognised as one of New Zealand’s finest wineries. Their Neudorf Moutere Chardonnay 2014 was given 100/100 points by Bob Campbell MW, the first time in his career he has done so. Their Neudorf Moutere Pinot Noir is equally famous – Nick Stock writing in James Suckling.com describes it “as one of the most distinctive, consistent and complex pinot noir wines made in New Zealand.”
