“The mature vines on Rosie’s Block are dry farmed, under organic conversion on north facing Moutere clay-gravel slopes. Parcels from other Moutere hill sites are included in the wine which displays the classic Neudorf stamp of crystalline mineral acidity, pure directional flow and ageability.”

“It is all about structure at Neudorf, we play down winemaker “noise” in favour of letting the site and the variety speak. With our long gentle summers and cool nights we can allow the wine to go through full malolactic ferment while retaining focus and drive. ”

Todd says Neudorf has a world-wide reputation for superb Chardonnay and this wine is part of that heritage. And Rosie Finn is pretty thrilled to have a wine dedicated to her. Currently working in the wine trade in London she says her roots are in the Moutere.
